CCB (the Community Council for Berkshire) is an independent charity and Rural Community Council that works across Berkshire and the South East. CCB provides community development support committed to tackling social exclusion and developing rural and urban communities.
The work of CCB encompasses a wide range of functions including a specialist rural delivery team and a voluntary sector support team. We also have a wealth of experience of working with a wide range of disadvantaged and minority groups. Recently there has been an increase in demand for us to work as an infrastructure support agency. We have been involved in a variety of intensive consultancy based interventions with a wide range of charitable bodies; supporting organisational, business, financial and change management.
We work closely with the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), Unitary Authorities, town and parish councils, funding agencies and voluntary and community groups. CCB is a member of Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE) and the South East Rural Community Councils (SERCC).
