Berkshire Digital Learning Champions go Ning

Charlotte Napier, the Berkshire Digital Learning Champions Project Co-ordinator is asking all those who want to be involved with the project to join the BDLCⁱ Ning at http://berksdlc.ning.com (though corporate users may want to use the mirror web address www.berksdlc.org.uk so their firewall doesn't object) as a starter method to working collaboratively and being able to share ideas and discuss issues in a way that everyone can see what is going on in one unified place.

A Ning is an online platform for people to create their own social networks, launched in October 2005. Ning was co-founded by Marc Andreessen and Gina Bianchini. Ning is Andreessen's third company (after Netscape and Opsware).

The word "Ning" is Chinese for "peace".
