Could your organisation use some extra funds? There must be very few who couldn’t. The Berkshire Neighbourhood Learning Centres Partnership (BNLCP) want to help groups of organisations that are involved with community based learning get those extra funds.

Sue Hale, the Extended Schools Manager of Inspire4Life (Tilehurst & Purley Cluster) has been successful in getting a grant from Give a Child a Chance, for one of Denefield School’s children to get a home computer.
Brauce Wright, our funding advisor, was able to find the suitable grant awarding authority and advise her on preparing the bid.

Slough Borough Council was one of ten local authorities selected to prototype ideas for the government's idea for an integrated service for adult career's advice, adult learning and development for employment. This resulted in a complex and multi-faceted project which as branded as 'Slough Working Better'.

Slough and Eton Adult and Community Learning Centre has been awarded a smarter government grant of £6,000 to help us increase the number of local people we are able to support in getting started with using the internet. We are planning to use the funding for improved signage on the school gate and for more staff time to increase the number of one-to-one appointments on offer.
