PWA acts as bridge to promote the issues and provide following services to the community:
Day centre that works with a range of organisations including Newbury College to provide a range of learning activities to older people.
We provide a centre of excellence for the provision of therapies, information and practical and emotional support for people with multiple sclerosis, their carers and families in Berkshire and surrounding area.
Woodley Hill House is a beautiful Victorian house set in its own grounds and has been a centre for the College since the 1960’s.
Within the Drop in centre, service users can access all services i.e. advocacy, information and advice, chiropodist, toe nail cutting services, Hairdressers.
Also within the centre there is a café where you can purchase hot and cold snacks, sandwiches, confectionary and a two course meal, all at very reasonable prices.
